The Better Automatic is a D.C. trio which delivers short, powerful songs with stripped down melodic minimalism. Counterpoint and carefully crafted vocals bring additional depth to the music. Lyrically and musically varied, The Better Automatic has never shyed away from experimentation. Normally a guitar/voice, bass, and drums operation, they often change things up with different vocals and keyboard lines. The Better Automatic can be heard on three Resin releases and have just released their first full-length CD! "Parts & Pieces" was recorded in a farmhouse attic on a 1967 reel-to-reel four-track machine which gives the album a raw, classic, old school feeling without sacrificing any quality from the songs. It is a unique and memorable album.
